4 Days Safari – Murchison Falls National Park; Ziwa Rhino

Day 1: Kampala City Tour and Ndere Cultural performance

On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be received by our company representative, then taken to check in to your Lodge and freshen up. After resting, you start with the city tour of Kampala Capital City. This day exposes you to Uganda’s capital Kampala. You can either opt for the urban tour circuit which will include; visiting either Baha’i temple, the one of its kind in the whole of Africa, or Namugongo Martyrs shrine (a place of martyrdom), and sum up with a thrilling cultural performance by Ndere troupe through performing arts and experience in totality, of Ugandan cultures through music and dance. Please note that the cultural performances are staged on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Alternatively, you will have a freestyle tour of the city, seeing the day-to-day lifestyle in Kampala etc, before going for Ndere Troupe performance. Dinner shall be at Ndere and Accommodation at either Red Chili Hide away Kampala (Budget) or Kazi Beach Resort in Kampala (Midrange)

Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Track Rhinos, and visit Top of Murchison Falls

You will be picked early morning and then start off the tour with a road transfer to Ziwa Rhino
Sanctuary where you will track Rhinos and have lunch. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls
National Park. On reaching the park, you will proceed through the middle of a cool tropical forest, enjoy the natural beauty as you see different animals along the way.

You will proceed to the Top of the breath-taking Murchison falls. Here you will be awed by the powerful and majestic mighty Nile, thunderously toppling down a Gorge. It is such a beautiful scenery for incredible picture moments. Enjoy the views, and take memorable pictures then head to the Accommodation, to check in for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at Red Chilli Rest Camp (Budget) or Murchison River Lodge (Midrange)

Day 3: Game drive and Boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed for a morning game drive in Uganda’s largest and oldest park, this offers beautiful sceneries of savannah grasslands scattered with Palms and acacia, up to the Nile delta where the Nile joins Lake Albert. As you view and take memorable photographs of the animals in the wilderness, expect to find Elephants, Lions, Buffalos, Giraffes, and Waterbucks, Bushbucks among others. You will be driven back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, you take the boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls the world’s strongest fall with spectacular rainbow view where the fall forces its way through a narrow gorge with thunderous water fall. It is amazing the concentration of wildlife in the bank of the river Nile, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird’s species, like African eagles, pelicans, kingfishers, Egyptian geese and much more. Return to the lodge and retire for the day. Dinner and overnight at Red Chilli Rest Camp (Budget) or Murchison River Lodge (Midrange)

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking, Nature Walk-Transfer to Kampala

This This day you will proceed to Budongo Central Forest Reserve, where you will be briefed and then embark on Chimpanzee tracking and a nature walk in the beautiful tropical forest. Chimpanzee Tracking will involve walking through the forest in search of these close relatives of man. Please note that Chimps can be very active and fascinating primates, who can keep you on the move as they swing around the forest branches. After Chimpanzee tracking, you start the return leg of your journey back to Entebbe to catch your Night return flight. Dinner shall be at Entebbe.
