This short trip enables you to undertake Uganda’s most sought-after activity – Gorilla tracking, in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to the gentle giants that almost went extinct. You also enjoy an encounter with Batwa, the forest dwellers who just left the forest or recent.

  2. Total cost for 2 People with Mid-range accommodation = 3,423 USD which is 1,712 USD per person.
  3. Total cost for 2 People with Luxury accommodation = 3,792 USD which is 1,896 USD per person.

 FOR 4 PEOPLE:

  1. The total cost for 4 People with Budget accommodation = 5,474 USD which is 1,369 USD per person.
  2. Total cost for 4 People with Mid-range accommodation = 6,017 USD which is 1,504 USD per person.
  3. Total cost for 4 People with Luxury accommodation = 6,755 USD which is 1,689 USD per person.

Day 1: Arrival & road transfer to Bwindi

On arrival, you will be received from Entebbe International Airport and transferred by Road to your accommodation near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Please note that this is a long road transfer and it would be preferable for you to arrive a day before, so that you rest in Entebbe or Kampala, and commence the trip the following  morning. We can organise that.

 Your accommodation will be at either:

i) Budget Options: Buhoma Community Rest Camp, Bwindi Forest Lodge or Gorilla Closeup Lodge

ii) Midrange Option: Ichumba Gorilla Lodge or Mutanda Lake Resort or Gorilla Mist Camp
iii) Luxury Option: Silverback Lodge or similar options.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking, Meet Forest Dwellers

Very early in the morning, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for Gorilla tracking. The activity starts with briefing from the Wildlife Ranger Guides and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of Mountain Gorillas, which was allocated accordingly. You have one hour for observing the primates and their behaviors, while taking photographs.

Due to the nature of this activity, we shall ensure that you take packed lunch and water with you in the bag and for this you might need the support of available porters.

After tracking, return to the Lodge to rest and in the evening, you will have the Batwa cultural performance .

Dinner and accommodation at either:

i) Budget Options: Buhoma Community Rest Camp, Bwindi Forest Lodge or Gorilla Closeup Lodge

ii) Midrange Option: Ichumba Gorilla Lodge or Mutanda Lake Resort or Gorilla Mist Camp

Day 3: Airport transfer, Equator stop

After breakfast, start on the long drive back to Entebbe / Kampala with the memory of the great rare mountain apes. Lunch en route and a stopover at the equator line and Igongo cultural center, arriving late in the evening at Entebbe International airport. End of Trip
